16 Handles Expands Its Sweet Reach to Cobble Hill, Brooklyn

16 Handles, a New York City staple for self-serve frozen yogurt and premium soft serve, is set to open its doors in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, on July 26, 2025. Located at 300 Court St., the new shop promises to be a community-centric spot for dessert lovers, offering a wide range of flavors and toppings. Franchisees Eric Farber and Dylan Vas, who share a passion for frozen yogurt and entrepreneurship, are behind this venture, aiming to fill a gap in the Brooklyn market for a neighborhood gathering place.

The Cobble Hill location, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating across 1,000 square feet, will employ 15 local team members. Farber and Vas, with backgrounds in finance and consulting respectively, see this as the first of many 16 Handles outlets in Brooklyn and Queens, targeting areas that value community and quality desserts equally.

16 Handles is renowned for its innovative flavors, including vegan, nonfat, and no sugar added options, alongside classics like Classic Vanilla and Original Tart. The brand also offers a variety of frozen novelties, making it a versatile destination for all ages. A grand opening event is planned, with free frozen yogurt for the first 100 guests and discounts throughout the weekend, signaling the brand's commitment to becoming a staple in the Cobble Hill community.
