3DX Industries Targets Navy Contracts with Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities
3DX Industries is expanding its government contracting efforts by submitting proposals to the U.S. Navy for specialized manufacturing services, leveraging its expertise in precision metal printing and CNC machining to compete for federal contracts.

3DX Industries, a specialized manufacturing company, is aggressively pursuing government contracting opportunities with the U.S. Navy, submitting detailed capabilities statements for critical naval component fabrication. The company has proposed manufacturing shipboard crane arm and cable assemblies, as well as submarine hull components, highlighting its advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The strategic move reflects the growing demand from the Department of Defense for technically sophisticated manufacturing suppliers capable of producing high-precision components using advanced techniques like metal 3D printing and CNC machining. By targeting these opportunities, 3DX Industries is positioning itself as a potential key supplier for mission-critical government projects.
Nicholas Coriano, Vice President of the Government Contracting Division, emphasized the company's commitment to building a robust federal procurement pipeline. Beyond the current Navy submissions, 3DX has identified three additional Requests for Proposals (RFPs) it intends to pursue in May.
CEO Roger Janssen noted that the company's core strengths of precision, reliability, and speed align perfectly with government agency requirements. The initiative represents a strategic expansion that leverages 3DX's existing manufacturing expertise into the potentially lucrative government contracting sector.
The company is taking a methodical approach to federal contracting, dedicating internal resources to researching opportunities, monitoring SAM.gov, and directly engaging with procurement officers. This comprehensive strategy suggests a long-term commitment to establishing a significant presence in government supply chains.
