Ace Green Recycling, Inc. has secured a significant multi-year Master Used Lead Acid Batteries Supply Agreement with Gold Star Metals, LLC, ensuring a minimum annual supply of 30,000 metric tons of battery feedstock for its planned Texas facility. The agreement allows for scaling volumes up to 100,000 metric tons per year as operations expand at the flagship Texas location, which is expected to commence operations in 2026.

The partnership represents a strategic move to strengthen the U.S. battery recycling ecosystem by providing a reliable pipeline of materials sourced from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and New Mexico. This supply agreement complements Ace Green Recycling's existing arrangements and supports the company's clean recycling technology platform that operates without Scope 1 carbon emissions.

Siddharth Roy, Business Director at Ace Green Recycling, emphasized that this partnership marks a major step in securing a stable and sustainable supply chain for U.S. operations. Both companies share a commitment to building a zero-emissions future for the global recycling industry, according to Roy's statement.

Gold Star Metals, described as a leading recycler and aggregator of battery materials in the southern United States, brings its strong regional collection network to support Ace's environmental friendly solutions for lead battery recycling. Parth Tanna, Business Manager at Gold Star Metals, noted that the long-term agreement leverages their collection capabilities to support next-generation clean recycling solutions.

The agreement addresses critical aspects of the battery recycling value chain, including supply security, environmental responsibility, and sustainable growth.
