Achievement Centers for Children & Families Launches Literacy Campaign to Build Community Connections

The Achievement Centers for Children & Families has launched its "Fall in Love with Literacy" campaign, an initiative designed to foster a love of reading among the community's youngest learners while building meaningful connections with local leaders. This fall-themed campaign invites dignitaries, educators, and community champions to spend 30 minutes reading to children in the Center's early learning classrooms.

Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite book or choose from a curated selection of age-appropriate titles available on-site. After the story time session with toddlers and preschoolers, guests are invited to take an optional tour of the nationally accredited facility. Stephanie Seibel, CEO of the Achievement Centers, emphasized that "This is about more than reading—it's about connection, community, and planting the seeds of literacy."

The campaign serves as a platform to highlight the Achievement Centers' work and lay the groundwork for future partnerships and funding opportunities. Palm Beach County School Board Member Erica Whitfield is among the first to join the effort, with additional visits being scheduled throughout the fall. The initiative represents a strategic approach to community engagement that combines immediate educational impact with long-term organizational sustainability.

For more information about the organization's programs and services, visit https://www.achievementcentersFL.org. The Achievement Centers currently serves over 760 local children and families at three locations in Delray Beach: Nancy K. Hurd Campus, Village Academy, and Pine Grove Elementary. The organization operates Early Learning, After School, Teen, and Summer Camp programs that help prepare children for academic and social success while inspiring them to discover their talents.

Family strengthening services are embedded within the organization's four core programs and are open to the public through the Family Support Program and Economic Stabilization services. These services benefit the community by stabilizing families in crisis and supporting them to serve as the foundation of their child's growth. The literacy campaign represents an innovative approach to addressing educational disparities while building essential community relationships that can lead to sustained support for childhood development programs.
