Alsco Uniforms Contributes $25,000 and First Aid Kits to Texas Flood Relief Efforts

Alsco Uniforms has announced a donation of $25,000 and 500 personal first aid kits to The Salvation Army to support relief and recovery efforts following the catastrophic floods in Texas. The floods, which occurred over the Fourth of July 2025 weekend, resulted in significant loss of life and property, particularly in Kerr County along the Guadalupe River.

Bob Steiner, CEO of Alsco Uniforms, emphasized the company's deep ties to Texas, with nine laundry facilities across the state. "Texas has supported our business for decades, and we want to be there for the community," Steiner said. The donation aims to provide immediate relief and support long-term recovery efforts for the affected families and businesses.

The Salvation Army has been at the forefront of the disaster response, deploying mobile kitchens and rapid response units to deliver essential supplies to those impacted. The contributions from Alsco Uniforms will enhance these efforts, enabling the distribution of first aid kits and funding for recovery projects.

Anthony Wessels, a local general manager for Alsco Uniforms, shared his personal connection to the disaster, stating, "My neighbors, friends, and family have all been affected by this disaster, and I'm thankful I work for a company that can help give back in this time of need."

This initiative by Alsco Uniforms underscores the importance of corporate involvement in disaster relief, demonstrating how businesses can play a pivotal role in aiding communities during crises.
