Alsco Uniforms Donates $50,000 to Support Homeless Services in San Diego

Alsco Uniforms has committed $50,000 to Father Joe's Villages to bolster services for individuals experiencing homelessness in San Diego County. The announcement came during the company's recent Managers Meeting in San Diego, where executives emphasized the growing crisis of homelessness affecting over 9,900 people in the region and reaching record highs across the United States.

Bob Steiner, Chief Executive Officer of Alsco Uniforms, stated the company's commitment to community involvement. The donation comes at a critical time when rising housing costs and insufficient resources have created major challenges for cities addressing homelessness. Father Joe's Villages, which began as a small chapel in 1950, has expanded over seven decades to provide comprehensive services including housing, meals, childcare, family services, medical and dental care, and vocational training.
