Alsco Uniforms Expands Toronto Presence with Topper Linen Acquisition

Alsco Uniforms, a global leader in uniform and linen laundry services, has acquired Topper Linen, a move that significantly expands its operational footprint in the Greater Toronto Area. This acquisition not only strengthens Alsco's service capabilities but also underscores its commitment to growth and customer service excellence in the region.

Bob Steiner, CEO of Alsco Uniforms, highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition, noting the value of Topper Linen's long-standing relationships and trust within the Toronto community. The rebranding of Topper's Toronto facility and fleet under the Alsco Uniforms name over the coming months will not disrupt service but rather enhance it, with all current employees remaining in place to ensure continuity and local expertise.

The addition of Topper Linen's facility brings Alsco's total to two laundry facilities in Toronto, improving service delivery to industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and food and beverage businesses. Jim Kearns, Alsco's chief operating officer, emphasized the acquisition as a foundation for further growth in the Toronto area and beyond, with plans to invest in expanding sales and service teams across North America.

With over 80 mixed-processing facilities in North America, Alsco Uniforms continues to lead in providing hygienically clean uniforms, linens, and other essential products to businesses. This acquisition not only broadens Alsco's operational capacity but also reinforces its position as a trusted partner in the uniform and linen rental industry.
