AmeriWell Clinics has appointed Dr. Erin Saunders, DNP, FNP-C, as the new Medical Director for its Baltimore and Clinton, Maryland locations, bringing critical care expertise and leadership to underserved communities. Dr. Saunders, who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland in 2025 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University in 2018, brings seven years of experience in high-acuity hospital environments including surgical units, intensive care units, and pediatric ICUs.
In her new role, Dr. Saunders will oversee clinical operations at AmeriWell's Baltimore clinic located at 3424 Annapolis Rd. and the Clinton clinic at 9135 Piscataway Rd., Suite 105. She will provide leadership and supervision to medical teams while continuing to deliver hands-on patient care, leveraging her reputation for calm, confident handling of complex medical situations and deep commitment to patient well-being.
