Andretti Global and Stratasys Strengthen Ties with Extended Partnership

The collaboration between Andretti Global, a prominent racing team under the TWG Motorsports umbrella, and Stratasys, a leader in 3D printing solutions, has been extended, marking a significant milestone in the use of additive manufacturing in motorsports. This partnership, which began in 2018, has been instrumental in providing Andretti INDYCAR with advanced 3D printing technologies, including the Stratasys F370 and Fortus® 450mc machines, to accelerate prototyping, tooling, and part production.

Among the notable innovations facilitated by this partnership are the RVB cooling shroud, steering wheel setup beam, helmet cooling adapters, and a damper spring perch tool. These advancements have not only improved the team's performance but also showcased the potential of 3D printing in addressing the unique challenges of INDYCAR racing. The extended agreement will see Stratasys playing a pivotal role in designing an optimized 3D printing lab at Andretti Global's new headquarters, further enhancing the team's capabilities.

Rich Garrity, Chief Commercial Business Officer at Stratasys, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, Stratasys is proud to support Andretti Global with cutting-edge 3D printing technologies that drive performance and innovation. Scott Graves, Engineering Manager at Andretti Global, highlighted the benefits of the expanded partnership, noting the potential for faster turnaround times, more complex geometries, and higher-quality parts to meet the demands of INDYCAR racing.

This extended partnership not only reinforces the strategic alliance between Andretti Global and Stratasys but also sets a new benchmark for the application of 3D printing in motorsports, promising to revolutionize the way racing teams approach design and manufacturing.
