Ann’s Choice Employees Volunteer to Support Local Families in Need

Ann’s Choice employees recently dedicated their time to volunteer at Caring for Friends, a local nonprofit focused on aiding those in need. As part of the community’s 'Volunteer with Me' program, Director of Human Resources Jeannette Collins and Director of Resident Life Trisha Malabuyo, along with nine team members, prepared more than 500 sandwiches for families facing food insecurity. The event was not only a testament to the team's spirit of generosity but also an opportunity to bond over classic 90s music during the activity.

The 'Volunteer with Me' initiative at Ann’s Choice enables employees to utilize paid volunteer hours for community outreach activities, sponsored by an executive team member. Collins expressed her appreciation for the company's support in fostering community engagement, emphasizing the impact of collective acts of kindness. Ann’s Choice's efforts were recognized by Caring for Friends, which named them the Kitchen Team of the Year for 2024.
