The Antique Toy Collectors of America (ATCA) recently converged on Fort Worth for their annual conference, with a highlight being an exclusive tour of the DFW Car & Toy Museum. Industry experts were stunned by the museum's extensive collection, which includes over 3,000 vintage toys and 200 classic and exotic cars.

Dale Kelley, publisher of Antique Toy World magazine, proclaimed the museum potentially the largest of its kind globally. Jeanne Bertoia of Bertoia Auctions praised the museum's commitment to preserving toy history, describing the collection as an 'incredible gift to the community'.

Museum founder Ron Sturgeon, who began collecting toys in 1985, emphasized the emotional connection visitors experience when encountering toys from their childhood. The 150,000 sq. ft. facility offers more than just a museum experience, featuring coin-operated machines, vintage automobilia, and nostalgic decor from various eras.

The museum provides free admission and is dog-friendly, making it accessible to families and collectors alike. Located in North Fort Worth, it operates Tuesday through Saturday and offers a unique opportunity to explore automotive and toy history.
