Arc Culinary's Chef Experience Dinners Support Disability Programs Through Culinary Events

Arc Culinary's Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen is hosting two immersive culinary events in August and September, with all ticket sales supporting programs for individuals with disabilities. The 2025 Favorites dinner on Saturday, August 30 at 7 p.m. features a four-course menu highlighting popular dishes, including a buckwheat and wild mushroom crepe with gruyère cheese and spinach, a sushi dome with salmon sashimi and panko breading, pastelón sweet plantain lasagna with mascarpone cheese and Manchego bechamel sauce, and a decadent dessert.

The Rooted – A Yuca Affair event on Thursday, September 11 at 7 p.m. celebrates Latin American cuisine with a four-course menu featuring Asian glazed pork belly with yuca purée, ropa vieja yuca tortilla tacos with escabeche onions, seared wild caught coho salmon with yuca soufflé and Manchego sauce, and a dessert course. Tickets are priced at $102 for chef's table seating or $92 for communal seating, including gratuity and alcoholic beverages.

These culinary events represent more than just dining experiences—they serve as critical fundraising initiatives for Arc Broward, which has been providing opportunities for people with disabilities since 1956. The revenue generated directly supports programming for 1,200 children and adults with disabilities across Broward County, Florida. Arc Culinary and Arc Educates function as revenue-generating social enterprises that transform community support into tangible opportunities for individuals with disabilities to realize their full potential.

The Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen offers an elegant venue featuring mid-century classic and modern design elements, including a Chef's Table and outdoor patio. Beyond the Chef Experience dinners, the facility hosts private cooking classes, corporate events, weddings, and other gatherings for up to 49 seated guests or 125 for buffet-style events. The venue also provides full-service off-site catering services. For those interested in attending the fundraising dinners, additional information is available at arcculinary.com/chef-experience-dinners/.

The significance of these events extends beyond culinary excellence, demonstrating how social enterprises can effectively generate revenue while supporting vital community programs. The Chef Experiences, sponsored by Amazon, represent an innovative approach to fundraising that combines gourmet dining with social impact, creating sustainable funding streams for disability services that might otherwise rely solely on traditional charitable donations.
