Residents of Ashby Ponds have contributed more than $370,000 to scholarships for high school and college student employees, supporting their educational futures with significant financial awards.

Residents at Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living community in Ashburn, VA, have demonstrated remarkable generosity by donating over $370,000 to the Student Scholarship Fund. This initiative benefits fifty high school students and thirty-two college students who have shown exceptional commitment to their roles within the community. The high school students, recognized as Student Scholars, receive a $12,000 scholarship over four years, with additional named scholarships and awards for children of employees enhancing the total support to $22,000 and $17,000 for select recipients.
The scholarship program underscores the community's commitment to fostering educational advancement among its young employees. To qualify, students must meet rigorous criteria, including maintaining good academic and professional standing and committing to full-time education post-graduation. The One-Year Scholars Award further extends this support to college students balancing work and studies, offering a $3,000 scholarship to aid their educational journey.
