ATAP Foundation Partners with Scouting America to Launch New Youth Troop in Willingboro

The All Things Are Possible (ATAP) Foundation has launched Scout Troop 611 through a partnership with Scouting America, bringing a values-driven program to youth in Willingboro this fall. The troop will serve boys and girls ages 5-10, offering a safe environment for hands-on learning, leadership development, and outdoor exploration.

Dr. Tiffani Worthy, Executive Director of the ATAP Foundation, stated that the troop represents more than just an after-school activity, calling it a pathway to purpose that aligns with the foundation's mission of empowering youth with tools to lead, serve, and succeed. The collaboration addresses the growing need for structured youth development programs that build character and practical life skills.

Patrick Linfors, Scout Executive/CEO of the Garden State Council, emphasized the shared commitment to youth health and well-being, noting that the partnership will foster character development, citizenship, personal fitness, and leadership skills in children. The troop concept emerged during ATAP's after-school program and Summer Empowerment Experience, where students participated in live Scouting demonstrations and responded positively to activities focused on teamwork and problem-solving.

Through this partnership, Troop 611 will provide opportunities for youth to build confidence, learn essential life skills, engage in community service, enjoy outdoor adventures, and develop a strong sense of responsibility and belonging. Linfors added that the collaboration aims to bring Scouting's fun and adventure to more people in Burlington County while developing the caring and successful adults that communities need.
