Award-Winning Production Designer Hojin Lee Joins Psychological Horror Film 'Answer the Question'
Acclaimed production designer Hojin Lee will bring her expertise in horror and thriller genres to Largo Legend's upcoming psychological horror feature, promising an immersive and atmospheric visual experience that enhances the film's supernatural narrative.
Hojin Lee, a distinguished production designer with an extensive background in horror filmmaking, has been selected to lead the production design for the upcoming psychological horror film 'Answer the Question' by Largo Legend.
Lee brings a proven track record in the horror genre, having designed over 20 short films and features, including the award-winning 'The Monkey's Paw'. Her role will be critical in crafting the film's gothic, antique horror aesthetic, which draws inspiration from haunted New England inns and early 20th-century spiritualist movements.
The film follows four university students documenting their stay at a psychic's bed and breakfast, where they become entangled in a deadly supernatural game. Lee's responsibilities will include designing set dressings, sourcing period-appropriate props, and transforming a historic inn into a believable haunted environment.
Producer Kakia M. Amarh highlighted Lee's selection, noting her exceptional ability to create visual tension through spatial design. Lee herself expressed excitement about diving into the horror genre, emphasizing her intention to make the psychic's space both a character and a narrative trap.
With pre-production scheduled to begin in January 2026 and principal photography planned for May through July 2026, 'Answer the Question' represents an ambitious project that promises to leverage Lee's unique visual storytelling capabilities to create a deeply immersive horror experience.
