Boca Teen Twins' Cereal Drive Donates Over 10,000 Pounds to Combat Hunger

The annual cereal drive organized by twin brothers Jett and Luke Justin, under their nonprofit Cereal4All, has successfully collected and donated 10,856 pounds of cereal to Boca Helping Hands (BHH). This significant contribution enables BHH to offer around 100,000 bowls of cereal through its five local food distribution sites, addressing a critical gap in breakfast food availability for families facing food insecurity.

Cereal4All's initiative not only tackles the immediate need for breakfast food but also engages young people in the fight against hunger. By partnering with over 143 schools, 81 food banks, and students across 20 states, as well as conducting Oatmeal Airlift flights to the Bahamas, the organization has distributed the equivalent of over 500,000 bowls of cereal nationally. This effort underscores the importance of breakfast in the daily lives of children and families and the often-overlooked shortage of breakfast food donations to food banks.

The brothers' work has garnered recognition from U.S. Congressman Jared Moskowitz and Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer, highlighting the impact of youth-led initiatives in addressing community needs. Cereal4All's partnerships with businesses like the Florida Panthers, Whole Foods, and Target further amplify their reach, demonstrating how collaborative efforts can make a substantial difference in combating hunger.

The story of Cereal4All and the Justin twins is a testament to the power of community engagement and the critical role of breakfast in ensuring the well-being of children and families. Their efforts not only provide immediate relief to those in need but also raise awareness about food insecurity and the importance of volunteerism from a young age.
