Bollinger Motors Delivers First Electric Truck to NYC Ecology Center

Mullen Automotive's subsidiary Bollinger Motors has delivered its B4 all-electric Class 4 commercial truck to the Lower East Side Ecology Center in New York City, marking a significant step in urban environmental transportation. The vehicle, funded by the NYC Council, will support the center's composting and environmental programs as its first electric vehicle.

The Bollinger B4 comes equipped with a robust 158-kWh battery and provides a 185-mile range, making it well-suited for urban operational needs. Its 16-foot dry box with a power lift gate enhances its utility for ecological and municipal services. This delivery represents a practical application of electric vehicle technology in municipal and environmental service sectors.

The truck's deployment aligns with broader industry trends toward electrification of commercial fleets. By providing an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diesel vehicles, the B4 demonstrates the potential for reducing urban carbon emissions while maintaining operational efficiency.

Mullen Automotive has been positioning itself as a key player in the commercial electric vehicle market, with two U.S. manufacturing facilities and recent certifications from California Air Resources Board and the EPA. The company's growing dealer network and federal EV tax credit eligibility further strengthen its market presence.
