BreastHab Rebrands as Thera Rehab in Midtown Manhattan, Broadening Its Clinical Identity

Thera Rehab Physical and Occupational Therapy, formerly known as BreastHab, has officially completed its rebranding, the private practice announced today. The Midtown Manhattan clinic, located at 115 West 30th Street, will continue to offer specialized rehabilitation services for breast cancer survivors, lymphedema patients, and those recovering from cosmetic or reconstructive surgeries, but under a name that better captures the breadth of its clinical expertise.

The rebranding comes as the practice seeks to more accurately represent the range of conditions it treats. While BreastHab was closely associated with breast cancer rehabilitation, the clinic also manages lymphedema arising from various oncological surgeries, vascular insufficiency, and other fluid retention disorders. The new name, Thera Rehab, aims to signal this broader scope without diluting the specialized, one-to-one care that has defined the practice. "The rebrand allows us to more accurately represent the full range of care we provide—from breast cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy to cosmetic surgery recovery and mastitis treatment—while keeping our Midtown Manhattan location as the anchor for patients across the region," said Sabrina Rana Vaishnavi, MPT, CLT, co-founder of Thera Rehab Physical and Occupational Therapy.

All services remain unchanged. Patients will continue to receive one-to-one sessions with licensed therapists, a model that distinguishes Thera Rehab from larger centers where patients may see multiple providers. The clinic's team includes Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLTs) and Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapists (CCSTs) with advanced training in oncology rehabilitation and manual therapy. Services include pre-hab and post-surgical care for breast cancer, Complete Decongestive Therapy for lymphedema, treatment for axillary web syndrome, mastitis and clogged milk ducts, scar management, and support for cosmetic procedures such as DIEP flap reconstruction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and breast augmentation.

The location at 115 West 30th Street, steps from Penn Station, provides accessibility for patients across New York City's five boroughs and the Tri-State Area, including New Jersey and Connecticut. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm, and works with a range of insurance providers for covered conditions. All medical records, treatment plans, and clinical relationships remain unchanged from the BreastHab era. The rebranding applies solely to the clinic's name, digital presence, and patient-facing materials.

The decision to rebrand now was driven by the recognition that the previous name did not fully capture the clinic's work. Lymphedema management, for instance, extends beyond breast cancer contexts to include patients recovering from other oncological surgeries, cosmetic procedures, and vascular issues. Thera Rehab's updated identity is intended to reflect that clinical scope while preserving the specialized, patient-centered approach that has attracted patients from major oncology centers and hospital systems in the region. The practice is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and a member of the National Lymphedema Network.
