CAM Tech Expands Manufacturing Capabilities with Enhanced Wire EDM Facility

CAM Tech, Inc. has completed a strategic expansion of its die manufacturing facility, adding 6,000 square feet of shop space and increasing its equipment arsenal to 13 high-speed Wire EDM machines and two EDM micro hole drilling stations. This expansion enables the company to handle both rapid-turnaround orders and larger production contracts more effectively.

Wire EDM technology is critical in precision manufacturing, allowing for intricate cutting of hardened materials like steel and carbide without causing stress or distortion. CAM Tech utilizes this technology to manufacture complex components including compound and progressive stamping dies, trim dies, punches, and buttons for industries such as medical, aerospace, and automotive.

The company's enhanced capabilities enable production of high-precision components including gears, splines, keyways, cutters, and carbide parts with exacting specifications. By maintaining 24/7 operational capacity, CAM Tech can accommodate diverse customer scheduling requirements while preserving its commitment to quality.

This expansion represents a significant milestone for CAM Tech, which has grown from a single Wire EDM machine in 1996 to a comprehensive precision manufacturing facility. The company's ability to provide close customer collaboration, rapid turnaround, and competitive pricing has earned it a five-star Google rating and continued customer loyalty.
