CENTRESTAGE Marks 10th Anniversary as Asia's Premier Fashion Platform with Record International Participation
Hong Kong's CENTRESTAGE fashion event celebrates its 10th edition with unprecedented global scale, featuring over 260 brands from 25 countries and reinforcing the city's position as Asia's fashion hub through international collaborations, sustainability focus, and emerging talent development.

The 10th edition of CENTRESTAGE, Asia's annual fashion extravaganza organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with record-breaking participation, cementing Hong Kong's role as the region's fashion capital. The event, running from September 3 to 6 with free admission for both industry professionals and the public, features over 260 brands from 25 countries and regions, marking the largest and most international edition in its decade-long history.
Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, emphasized the event's significance: "For the past decade, CENTRESTAGE has been committed to providing a platform where designers from Hong Kong and Asia can showcase their work and exchange ideas." The fair's expansion reflects Hong Kong's growing importance in the global fashion landscape, with nine countries participating for the first time and the United Kingdom joining as Partner Country with 16 British brands, including sustainable designer Patrick McDowell.
The event's international scope extends beyond the UK participation. Thailand has brought its largest pavilion ever with over 40 brands, while Czechia showcases traditional glass craftsmanship through brand LINDA PRO's handbag designs. The Canada pavilion highlights cultural diversity with brands led by female, indigenous and multicultural designers, and Japan presents emerging labels such as HOUGA and THE NERDYS. Additional pavilions from Korea, Macao, Philippines, Australia and other regions demonstrate CENTRESTAGE's role as a true global exchange platform accessible through CENTRESTAGE's official website.
Beyond the exhibition space, CENTRESTAGE serves as a critical forum for industry dialogue and knowledge sharing. The event features internationally renowned fashion figures including couturier Guo Pei, who presented her new collection "Gilternity: An Everlasting Radiance" and will host a master sharing session on September 4. Legendary fashion figure Professor Jimmy Choo OBE hosted the "Meet the Fashion Legend" session, introducing the JCA - London Fashion Academy and showcasing works by emerging designers. British designer Charles Jeffrey of Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY will also participate in sharing sessions and serve as guest judge for the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers' Contest (YDC) final on September 6.
The fashion shows represent another record-breaking aspect, with approximately 30 runway presentations scheduled throughout the event. The Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show, organized by the HKTDC, showcased creative collections from four local brands: ANGUS TSUI, ARTY:ACTIVE, IP AXIS INDUSTRIAL STUDIO and selfFab. This show also marks the 10th anniversary of the Fashion Hong Kong overseas promotion campaign, further detailed at Fashion Hong Kong's platform.
Sustainability and circular fashion emerge as critical themes throughout the event. The newly added Circular Fashion zone showcases eco-conscious design, while non-profit organization Redress hosts the Redress Design Award Grand Final, marking its 15th cycle of promoting sustainable fashion practices. The event also features six themed zones covering accessories, athleisure, craftsmanship, contemporary design and urban street style, responding to evolving market demands and consumer preferences.
The Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers' Contest (YDC) grand final on September 6 represents the culmination of the event's talent development mission. With Charles Jeffrey serving as guest judge, the competition will select winners in four categories, providing crucial exposure for emerging designers. The contest details and emerging talent can be explored through YDC's official platform.
CENTRESTAGE's decade of growth mirrors Hong Kong's evolution as a fashion hub, combining international participation with local talent development. The event's free public admission policy and interactive experiences, including AI workshops and fragrance collaborations with local brand CitiScent, make high fashion accessible while promoting Hong Kong's creative industries. As the event continues through September 6, it solidifies its position as not just a trade fair but a comprehensive ecosystem for fashion innovation, sustainability, and cross-cultural exchange in Asia.
