China to Host First Global Smart Machinery and Electronics Expo in December 2025

The first Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo, hosted by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to take place in Macao and Zhuhai from December 4, 2025. This event, adopting an innovative 'One Expo, Two Cities' model, is expected to draw over 70,000 professional attendees, highlighting the significance of smart machinery and electronics in the global tech landscape.

Under the theme 'Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced,' the Expo positions itself as a 'Technology Trendsetter, Global Networking Hub, and Industry Accelerator.' It aims to enhance the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's influence in global smart manufacturing, showcasing breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and the low-altitude economy.

The Expo will feature a '1+1+6+N' framework, including one opening ceremony, one keynote forum, six themed pavilions, and numerous sub-forums. Macao's venue will focus on smart electronics, while Zhuhai's will emphasize smart machinery, covering areas from satellite communications to smart healthcare applications.

Supported by various governmental and industry bodies, the Expo seeks to foster capital-technology synergy and shared manufacturing resources, creating an integrated industrial ecosystem. Roadshows are planned in several international and domestic locations to promote the event, with media outreach targeting global decision-makers through a mix of mainstream and vertical industry channels.
