The Yam Grandy Water Pollution Control Facility in Swainsboro, Ga., under the management of ClearWater Solutions (CWS), has been honored with the Gold Award by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for the third year in a row. This accolade celebrates the facility's flawless permit compliance throughout the 2024 calendar year, a testament to the team's dedication to environmental stewardship and superior operational performance.
Chris Morton, CWS Project Manager, presented the award to the Swainsboro City Council, highlighting the significant achievement of maintaining 100% permit compliance. Morton praised the leadership of Wade Holcomb, Lead Operator, and Will Hutcheson, Plant Operations Supervisor, for their exceptional guidance and expertise, which have been pivotal in the facility's consistent success.
Since 2021, CWS has been responsible for the operations and maintenance of Swainsboro's water, wastewater, and public works systems.
