Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. has executed two three-way confidentiality agreements with global partners to advance secure communications capabilities for its Nexus 20 platform, requested by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence. The agreements involve collaboration between Babcock Land Defence Limited, Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy, and Critical Infrastructure Technologies, as well as between Babcock Land Defence Limited, Ericsson Limited, and Critical Infrastructure Technologies.

These NDAs establish the framework for designing and integrating full-scope 4G/5G telecommunications systems into the Nexus 20 platform. Both Nokia and Ericsson have been selected as preferred suppliers of advanced telecommunications hardware for the program, which includes delivery of 50 Nexus 20 platforms. The partnerships leverage the proven capabilities of Nokia and Ericsson alongside Babcock's extensive defence expertise to develop fully integrated, next-generation communications systems.

The Nexus 20 program highlights the critical importance of resilient, secure, and high-capacity communications in modern defence operations. According to Brenton Scott, CEO of CiTech, this milestone ensures that industry leaders can work together in a secure and collaborative environment to meet the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence's operational requirements. The execution of these agreements paves the way for detailed system design and integration, bringing the project closer to deployment.

The company develops autonomous, high-capacity mobile communications platforms using patented technologies that address limitations of current rapidly deployable communication solutions. The self-deploying platform is designed to support radio equipment including LTE and various technological payloads such as surveillance and anti-drone systems.
