DC BLOX Achieves Fifth Consecutive Inc. 5000 Recognition Amid Southeast Digital Infrastructure Expansion

DC BLOX has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America for the fifth consecutive year, reflecting sustained expansion in digital infrastructure across the Southeastern United States. The recognition, based on revenue growth from 2021 to 2024, comes as the company accelerates development of data centers and fiber networks to meet rising demand for connectivity.

CEO Jeff Uphues attributed the growth to increasing needs for reliable, high-capacity infrastructure in the region, emphasizing the company's role in supporting technology investments and economic development. DC BLOX's recent milestones include new fiber routes, plans for hyperscale edge node data centers, and ongoing work on the Myrtle Beach Cable Landing Station campus.

A significant expansion involves a second subsea Cable Landing Station campus in Palm Coast, Florida, enhancing connectivity for hyperscalers, communications providers, enterprises, and government entities. These projects facilitate next-generation applications like high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

Financing this growth, DC BLOX secured a $1.15 billion green loan for its Atlanta data center campus, designed as a sustainable facility to address hyperscale capacity demands. The full 2025 Inc. 5000 rankings can be viewed here.
