DEAG Reports Record Revenue and Earnings in Fiscal 2025, Positioning for Sustained Growth

DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG reported record financial results for fiscal year 2025, with revenue rising approximately 33% to EUR490.0 million and EBITDA more than doubling to EUR32.1 million. The company attributed the strong performance to the successful execution of its buy-and-build strategy, increased ticket sales, and a reduction in minority interests.

Ticket sales reached an all-time high of over 12 million, significantly exceeding the prior year's 11 million. A substantial portion of these sales came through DEAG's proprietary ticketing platforms, including myticket.de, gigantic.com, and tickets.ie. By the end of 2025, advance sales of approximately 3 million tickets for 2026 events had already secured EUR151.5 million in revenue, providing strong visibility for the current fiscal year.

The EBITDA margin improved from 3.9% to 6.6%, reflecting enhanced profitability. The company expects further margin expansion in 2026, although total revenue is anticipated to temporarily decline to slightly above EUR400 million due to the cyclical nature of the live entertainment industry. Management projects a return to growth in subsequent years.

DEAG continued its consolidation strategy in the European live entertainment market. In 2025, it acquired a majority stake in the ROCKHARZ Festival, one of Germany's largest rock and metal festivals, and increased its holdings in Fane Productions and the UK ticketing platform gigantic.com to 100%. Post-period, in the first quarter of 2026, DEAG acquired the remaining minority interests in Wizard Live, LiveGeist Entertainment, and Wizard Communications, along with a majority stake in the Juicy Beats festival and a majority in conneccted: EVENTS & LIVE MARKETING GmbH via its subsidiary Mewes Entertainment Group.

The company's robust financial structure was further strengthened by the placement of a new corporate bond (2025/2029) with an issue volume of EUR75 million. This, combined with a diversified event portfolio and proprietary ticketing platforms, positions DEAG well for medium- and long-term growth, subject to macroeconomic conditions.

Notable events in 2025 included tours by Ed Sheeran, Iron Maiden, and Till Lindemann, who sold over 190,000 tickets for his European tour. The company's festival portfolio, including NATURE ONE and Belladrum Tartan Heart, contributed to a strong summer season. For 2026, DEAG has a high density of events planned, including tours by Judas Priest, Die Toten Hosen, and Gorillaz, as well as the monster truck show "Monster Jam" and "The Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring in Concert" with the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
