The strategic partnership between Duos Edge AI, a subsidiary of Duos Technologies Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUOT), and FiberLight, LLC, has been expanded to accelerate the deployment of modular, SOC 2 Type II compliant Edge Data Centers (EDCs) across the United States. This collaboration leverages FiberLight's extensive fiber optic network and Duos Edge AI's rapidly deployable EDCs to bring high-performance, scalable solutions to underserved markets, including urban and rural communities.
At the heart of this partnership is the commitment to delivering low-latency, localized compute infrastructure that supports a wide range of applications, from education and healthcare to enterprise and AI-driven technologies. The alliance builds on their successful collaboration in Texas, where FiberLight's approximately 75 route miles of regional infrastructure in Corpus Christi and over 13,000 route miles across the state provide a solid foundation for this initiative.
One notable achievement of this partnership was the rapid deployment of a new EDC in Corpus Christi, which was situated just 30 feet from FiberLight's existing infrastructure. This project not only demonstrated the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Duos Edge AI's solutions but also highlighted the potential for significant savings and minimized downtime for local customers. The expedited permitting and installation process eliminated the need for over 2,000 feet of new construction, showcasing the practical benefits of this collaboration.
