Duos Technologies Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUOT) has appointed Doug Recker as Corporate Officer and President, reporting to CEO Chuck Ferry. The appointment comes as the company seeks to strengthen its leadership team with proven industry veterans to execute its strategy of scaling its Edge AI-powered digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Recker brings over 30 years of telecommunications and data center experience, having been instrumental in Duos' expansion into the Edge Data Center and colocation markets through the company's Duos Edge AI subsidiary. In his new role, he will assume broader leadership responsibilities across the organization, leveraging his expertise to advance Duos' strategy in Edge AI and digital infrastructure solutions.
The appointment signals Duos' commitment to addressing the growing demand for digital infrastructure, particularly in underserved communities. Recker will continue overseeing the design, implementation, and deployment of Duos Edge Data Centers, which aim to provide more robust connectivity and compute capabilities to schools, hospitals, local governments, local fiber carriers, and first responder networks.
Recker's industry credentials include founding Edge Presence in 2017, later acquired by Ubiquity in 2023, and previously establishing Colo5 Data Centers LLC, acquired by Cologix, Inc. in 2014. His career achievements include receiving Northeast Florida's Ultimate CEO Award, recognition in Inc. 500's fastest-growing companies, and the BizTech Innovations Best CEO Award.
CEO Chuck Ferry emphasized the strategic timing of this management transition, stating that the company is entering an exciting new phase of growth following a successful capital raise and with a growing pipeline ahead.
