Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR) announced that its Pinyon Plain uranium mine in Arizona exceeded production expectations in the second quarter of 2025, mining 230,661 pounds of U₃O₈ in June alone and totaling 638,700 pounds for the quarter. The mine's performance, with June grades averaging 3.51% U₃O₈ and the quarter averaging 2.23%, positions it as a significant contributor to the U.S. uranium supply. CEO Mark S. Chalmers emphasized the mine's potential to be one of the highest-grade uranium deposits in U.S. history.

The company sold 50,000 pounds of uranium on the spot market at an average of $77 per pound in Q2, with plans to sell 140,000 pounds in Q3 and 160,000 pounds in Q4 under long-term contracts. Projections for 2026 sales range between 620,000 and 880,000 pounds, underscoring the mine's critical role in meeting the demand for uranium in the nuclear energy sector.
