Fintech Partnership Solves Cash Flow Crisis for Growing Logistics Firm
One Choice Logistics overcame significant cash flow challenges through a strategic partnership between TruckIT's digital platform and Bolton Capital's rapid payment solutions, enabling the company to maintain weekly driver payments while handling extended accounts receivable cycles.

One Choice Logistics, a Florida-based aggregate transportation company, faced a critical cash flow dilemma as its rapid growth created a widening gap between weekly driver payments and extended customer payment terms. The company, which grew to over $6 million in revenue since its 2022 founding, found itself carrying more than $600,000 in unpaid invoices during the summer months, creating significant financial stress despite winning larger contracts.
"We pride ourselves in paying our drivers and subs on time, every time," said Azohani "Nani" Bernal, CEO of One Choice Logistics. "But the bigger contracts we won, the longer our accounts receivables stretched—anywhere from 60 to 90 days at times, putting stress on our finances." The company's commitment to weekly payments for its network of 250 owner-operated dump trucks, dump trailers, and cement tankers across South and Central Florida became increasingly difficult to maintain as accounts receivable periods extended.
The solution emerged through a partnership between TruckIT, a technology provider for digitizing the bulk hauling supply chain, and Bolton Capital, a financial services firm specializing in dump truck hauler needs. Together, these companies addressed one of the transportation industry's most persistent operational challenges—managing cash flow while maintaining timely payments to essential personnel.
Bernal reported immediate relief from the financial pressure. "Bolton funded $400,000 to us in 48 hours, and the remaining $200,000 the following Monday. We've had them fund our invoices every week, ever since." This rapid funding capability transformed One Choice's financial operations, allowing the company to maintain its payment commitments without interruption.
The integration between Bolton Capital's payment systems and TruckIT's digital e-Ticketing platform created a seamless workflow from job completion to cash receipt. One Choice now submits invoices through the TruckIT platform, where Bolton's ticket-matching technology enables instant verification and payment. This technological synergy eliminates the traditional waiting period between service delivery and payment receipt.
Andrew Lindsay, co-founder and CEO of TruckIT, emphasized the practical understanding behind the solution. "My experience running Astra Group helped me understand what dump truck owner/operators face. Through our partnership with Bolton, we can help One Choice both improve efficiency and provide the funding needed to run its business effectively and strategically."
Beyond the operational benefits, the partnership provided significant personal relief for Bernal, who had experienced constant stress about meeting payroll obligations. "For six months, I was stressed out 24/7 about making payroll as well as paying our drivers and subs," Bernal acknowledged. "I credit Bolton and TruckIT for making my life easier." The solution enabled One Choice to compete effectively with larger industry players while maintaining its commitment to timely payments for drivers and subcontractors.
