The innovative floss holder Flosser Y has launched globally on Kickstarter, offering a solution to common challenges with traditional flossing methods. Traditional floss and disposable floss picks often prove inconvenient to use, provide weak stability, and contribute to environmental issues through discarded plastic waste. Flosser Y addresses these problems simultaneously through its sustainable design and user-focused features.
This next-generation flossing device incorporates a built-in floss cartridge that can be replaced in just three seconds using a one-touch button lever system. The floss remains firmly secured through a serrated structure and leverage principle, while a built-in cutter within the lever automatically trims the floss. This design enables users to clean not only front teeth but also hard-to-reach areas deep in the molars with enhanced stability.
The device features an optimized 1.02-inch head designed specifically to reach back molars, with a curved tip that provides comfort even when inserted deep into the mouth. For continuous usability, the handle can store up to two additional floss cartridges internally, featuring a sliding cover design that enhances both portability and convenience. Each standard cartridge contains the equivalent of 150 single-use floss picks, significantly reducing plastic consumption compared to traditional disposable options.
Environmental sustainability is a core focus of the product, with an eco-friendly biodegradable floss option made from bamboo charcoal available alongside traditional materials. Users can select from three floss types based on their dental needs: 420D Nylon, 500D PTFE, or 720D Bamboo. The device comes in four color options—Midnight Black, Pastel Blue, Cream White, and Sunset Rose—combining functionality with aesthetic appeal as a stylish everyday accessory.
