Foremost Clean Energy Discovers Uranium at Hatchet Lake Project in Saskatchewan

Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. has announced a uranium discovery at its Hatchet Lake project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, revealing promising mineralization in its first drilling program with partner Denison Mines. The drill hole TF-25-16 intersected 0.10% eU₃O₈ over 6.5 meters within a 15-meter alteration zone, with mineralization remaining open along and across strike.

The discovery is significant as it demonstrates the potential of the project and leverages Denison's historical exploration data to identify high-potential targets. By focusing on strategic drill-ready locations, Foremost is positioning itself to capitalize on growing global demand for uranium as part of the energy transition.

The ongoing winter drill campaign will concentrate on follow-up work and exploring additional targets identified through previous geophysical surveys. This approach underscores the company's disciplined exploration strategy in a jurisdiction known for its uranium-rich geology.

As global energy markets increasingly prioritize decarbonization, uranium exploration becomes critical in supporting nuclear power development. Foremost's project in the Athabasca Basin, which spans over 330,000 acres, represents a strategic investment in this emerging sector.
