Genesis Inspiration Foundation Awards $50,000 to Broward Performing Arts Foundation

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to arts education by granting $50,000 to the Broward Performing Arts Foundation. This donation, made on behalf of Genesis Motor America and its South Florida dealers, will fund education and enrichment programs at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, benefiting more than 105,000 students each year.

John Guastaferro, executive director of the Genesis Inspiration Foundation, highlighted the foundation's dedication to making the arts accessible to young people, emphasizing the transformative power of arts education. The Broward Performing Arts Foundation, which supports the Broward Center's diverse programming and community engagement activities, expressed gratitude for the donation, noting its impact on students' lives.

The contribution was celebrated at the Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center, where guests enjoyed a preview of summer camp sessions and a performance by the Young Professionals student group. The center, a hub for artistic expression and learning, plays a pivotal role in the Broward Center's mission to inspire through the performing arts.

Since its establishment in 1985, the Broward Performing Arts Foundation has been crucial in securing the financial support necessary for the Broward Center's operations and capital projects, including the renovation of its campus and The Parker. The Genesis Inspiration Foundation's latest grant continues this tradition of fostering arts education and accessibility for under-resourced communities.
