GEODIS, a global leader in transport and logistics, has appointed Laura Ritchey as President & CEO of its Americas region, a move that underscores the company's commitment to strengthening its operations in North and South America. Ritchey, who will also join the Group's Executive Board, brings over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, including significant expertise in retail and e-commerce, to her new role.

Leading a team of nearly 20,000 across eight countries, Ritchey is tasked with overseeing the growth and management of GEODIS's diverse business units in the region. Her appointment comes at a time when the logistics industry faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities, making her deep industry knowledge and leadership skills invaluable assets for GEODIS.

Marie-Christine Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of GEODIS, highlighted Ritchey's proven track record in driving operational excellence and profitability, particularly in the e-commerce sector, as key factors in her selection.
