Giant Mining Advances AI-Driven Copper Exploration in Nevada Amid Growing U.S. Critical Mineral Demand
Giant Mining Corp. has launched its Phase 2 exploration program at the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, utilizing AI technology to expand copper discoveries crucial for U.S. electrification and renewable energy infrastructure.

Giant Mining Corp. has commenced its 2025 Phase 2 Exploration Program at the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada, building on the success of Phase 1 drilling that confirmed copper mineralization through AI-driven targeting. This expansion comes as copper emerges as an indispensable resource for electrification, grid modernization, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing, with the United States accelerating efforts to re-shore critical mineral supply chains.
The Phase 2 program focuses on four key target zones: the Southern Breccia Zone, where drill-defined breccia zones are integrated into a 3D digital model; the Northern Breccia Zone, evaluated through surface mapping and 93 new soil samples; the Ball Park Breccia, characterized using historical drill data; and the 789 Resistivity Target, refined through ExploreTech's AI-driven geophysical modeling. These efforts aim to unlock the district-scale potential of Majuba Hill, located in Nevada, which ranks #1 in the Fraser Institute's 2022 Annual Survey of Mining Companies.
Phase 1 results, particularly from core hole MHB-36, demonstrated the effectiveness of AI targeting, intersecting intervals of supergene and hypogene copper mineralization, including 1.5 feet at 1.21% copper. David Greenway, CEO of Giant Mining, stated, "ExploreTech's proprietary geophysical modeling successfully identified a high-potential breccia zone, expanding our understanding of Majuba's copper mineralization." The project, spanning 9,684 acres with existing infrastructure near Winnemucca and Reno, benefits from historical production and approximately 89,395 feet of prior drilling, with mineralization open in all directions.
The integration of AI technology, provided by Exploration Technologies, Inc., allows for precise identification of geologically favorable zones, enhancing exploration efficiency. Buster Hunsaker, Consulting Geologist, noted, "The ExploreTech process gives Giant Mining a solid vectoring tool, utilizing the extensive property-wide IP/Resistivity database." This approach supports America's transition to a sustainable, self-reliant future by potentially establishing Majuba Hill as a key domestic copper source, critical for meeting the demands of initiatives like the Green New Deal and global climate-focused programs.
