Goliath Resources Ltd. has initiated a strategic underground exploration project at its 100%-owned Golddigger property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The company has engaged JDS Energy & Mining Inc. to evaluate the development of an underground exploration adit targeting the Bonanza Zone, an area demonstrating significant gold mineralization potential.
The proposed underground access will enable more efficient year-round drilling operations and provide critical geological confirmation of the site's mineral resources. Recent drilling results highlight the project's promise, with drill hole GD-24-260 returning an impressive 34.52 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) over 39 meters, including intervals exceeding 130 g/t AuEq.
By developing an underground adit, Goliath Resources aims to enhance its understanding of the deposit's structure and potentially conduct bulk sampling. This approach can provide more precise data about the gold mineralization, potentially improving the project's economic viability and future development strategies.
