HKTDC Launches Seven Concurrent Lifestyle and Licensing Mega Events in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council is hosting seven concurrent mega events next week, showcasing global innovations in gifts, homeware, fashion, printing, packaging, and licensing while reinforcing Hong Kong's role as a regional creative hub and international business center.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open seven annual lifestyle and licensing mega events next week, bringing together approximately 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions. The events, running from April 27-30, 2026, include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, and Fashion InStyle at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC); the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong at AsiaWorld-Expo; and the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference at HKCEC. These gatherings fully leverage Hong Kong's unique connectivity between the Chinese Mainland and international markets, reinforcing the city's position as a regional creative hub and international business center while aligning with national development strategies.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo emphasized the organization's role in facilitating trade exchanges, stating that the concurrent timing allows buyers a one-stop sourcing experience that fosters cross-industry exchanges and generates greater synergies. The events are expected to showcase offerings spanning gifts and premiums, stylish houseware, trendy fashion, innovative materials, gerontechnology, cultural and creative design products, sustainable products, green printing and packaging, and intellectual property. First-time exhibitors this year include participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan, while new pavilions from various Chinese provinces and international regions like India and Indonesia will offer buyers more diverse sourcing options.
A significant development this year is the transformation of HKCEC Hall 5 into a Reimagine themed floor, which seamlessly connects innovative, design, and cultural creative elements from both the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle. This floor presents a new vision of future lifestyles and includes highlighted zones such as the Gifts & Premium Fair's new Selection of ASEAN and The Bespoke Hub, the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, Home InStyle's Cultural and Creative Avenue, and the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion. The Cultural and Creative Avenue brings together over 110 exhibitors from more than 10 countries and regions, partnering with Pantone to use the PANTONE 2026 Colour of the Year "Cloud Dancer" as its theme to demonstrate how color coordination can create stylish living spaces.
In response to global ageing trends, Home InStyle will showcase innovative materials applied to homeware and home textiles for the first time, alongside gerontechnology living products in the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion. Fashion InStyle features multiple exhibition zones, with NEXT@Fashion InStyle (NEXT) demonstrating how materials innovation can drive industry transformation and advance sustainability. This year, the Philippines serves as NEXT's featured partner, with more than 25 Philippine exhibitors showcasing local fashion materials through The Philippine Trade and Investment Centre – Hong Kong (PTIC-HK) and the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) at https://www.citem.com.ph. NEXT has also brought together over 60 global exhibitors from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Nordic countries including Iceland, Finland, and Sweden.
The Printing & Packaging Fair introduces new products in smart packaging and innovative materials, focusing on RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies, while the Green Printing & Packaging Solutions Zone facilitates identification of eco-friendly options. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focuses on premium printing and packaging for high-end goods, showcasing distinctive designs for luxury brands. The Hong Kong International Licensing Show, now in its 23rd edition, brings together over 600 brands and intellectual properties from multiple countries and regions, serving as a cross-regional business expansion platform. A new "IP and e-Commerce Support Services" Zone aligns with government policy to enhance Hong Kong companies' competitiveness on cross-border e-commerce platforms, helping brands expand into online markets.
The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference, under the theme "Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power," brings together industry leaders to explore global licensing market developments. All seven events adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, integrating online and offline experiences through platforms like "Click2Match" and "Scan2Match," with AI-driven services including a SmartBot to help buyers search for products and generate personalized visit routes.
