HKTDC Opens Seven Major Lifestyle and Licensing Fairs, Showcasing Global Innovations and Cross-Border Opportunities
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council launched seven flagship events today, featuring over 5,600 exhibitors from 30+ countries, with a focus on licensing, sustainable materials, and e-commerce support to solidify Hong Kong's role as a super connector for global businesses.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today opened its seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events, drawing over 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions. The fairs, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo, aim to position Hong Kong as a key gateway for global businesses connecting with the Chinese Mainland, leveraging its robust innovation ecosystem and intellectual property infrastructure.
HKTDC Executive Director Sophia Chong emphasized Hong Kong's role as a "super connector and super value-adder," bridging the Chinese Mainland's vast market with global opportunities. The events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and the Asian Licensing Conference.
The Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle feature a new "Reimagine" themed floor at HKCEC Hall 5, showcasing trends in lifestyle homeware and gifting. Notable launches include the Camel Brand MINI20 thermos blind box, commemorating the brand's 85th anniversary and Bruce Lee’s 85th birth anniversary, and PREN Ltd's infection-prevention mobile toilet, a waterless unit with health monitoring capabilities. The Hall of Fine Designs at the Gifts & Premium Fair highlights over 100 exhibitors offering premium, design-led products.
Home InStyle's Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission, showcases over 20 local enterprises with products like TechFitX Smart Sports Training System for seniors and IntuCREW smart power-assist for caregivers. The Cultural and Creative Avenue gathers design institutions from over 10 countries, with highlights including Pantone's 2026 Colour of the Year "Cloud Dancer."
Fashion InStyle's NEXT zone, sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), returns with over 60 exhibitors demonstrating material innovation. Belgium's Bloom Biotech showcases microalgae leather, the world's first carbon-neutral leather alternative, while Finland's Spinnova PLC presents SPINNOVA® fibre from wood or waste cellulose. Project ambassador Han Chong of self-portrait leads six local designer brands in creating cross-disciplinary collections using forward-looking materials from global suppliers.
The Licensing Show introduces a new IP and e-Commerce Support Services zone, aligning with the HKSAR Government's policy to strengthen cross-border e-commerce competitiveness. The zone unites e-commerce platforms, KOLs, and marketing firms to help brands capitalize on e-commerce growth. Headline IPs include Potatoz, LuLu the Piggy, Café de Bollo, and international IPs from Korea and Thailand.
The events also host around 60 thematic seminars covering the silver economy, sustainability, and generative AI in printing. The Asian Licensing Conference features speakers from Licensing International, FIFA, and COVER Corporation, discussing global licensing trends and sports licensing strategies. These fairs underscore Hong Kong's strategic importance as a hub for innovation, licensing, and cross-border trade, offering businesses a platform to explore new markets and technologies.
