Holy Cross Health's Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Program has been awarded the Center of Distinction honor by Healogics, acknowledging its exceptional patient satisfaction rates exceeding 92 percent and outstanding clinical outcomes over twelve consecutive months. Margie Garland, Program Director, credited the achievement to the team's dedication and the leadership of medical director Dr. William Ward and clinical coordinator Joly.
The program, part of the Healogics network, specializes in treating chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, utilizing advanced therapies like hyperbaric oxygen treatment to enhance healing. This recognition underscores the program's role in providing high-quality, specialized care to patients with complex wound care needs.
