Honeycomb Insurance Expands Its Footprint with New Chicago Headquarters
Honeycomb Insurance's new Chicago headquarters marks a significant milestone in its rapid growth, leveraging AI and computer vision to transform property insurance.

Honeycomb Insurance, a rapidly expanding insurtech firm in the U.S., has inaugurated its new 15,000-square-foot headquarters in Chicago, signaling a robust phase of growth and innovation in the property insurance sector. This development comes after a year of unprecedented expansion for the company, which utilizes artificial intelligence and proprietary computer vision technology to revolutionize insurance for residential real estate.
Supported by substantial investment from Zeev Ventures, known for its early stakes in Navan and Next Insurance, Honeycomb has emerged as a preferred insurance solution for landlords, condo associations, and multifamily property owners. Its platform enables precise, real-time risk assessment without displacing brokers, currently serving 18 states with over $55 billion in assets insured and a revenue that has more than doubled annually.
The new facility, located in the Chicago Board of Trade building, is designed to accommodate the company's growing team, featuring 10 private offices and 10 multifunctional rooms, with plans to increase its local workforce by 50 in the next year. "Chicago's rich talent reservoir is ideal for pioneering the future of real estate insurance," remarked Itai Ben-Zaken, CEO and co-founder of Honeycomb.
Honeycomb's approach to property and casualty insurance combines deep-tech solutions with a digital-first mindset, offering customized coverage for properties typically underserved by conventional insurers. Its advanced underwriting engine, powered by AI and computer vision, ensures competitive pricing and tailored policies, streamlining the insurance process by eliminating traditional hurdles like lengthy approvals and physical inspections.
