Hong Kong Designers Take Spring/Summer 2027 Collections to Paris in First HKTDC-Hactl Collaboration

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will stage the Fashion Hong Kong professional showroom in Paris from 24 to 28 June, marking the first cross-sector collaboration with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl). Held during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the initiative aims to help Hong Kong designer brands expand their international presence by showcasing their Spring/Summer 2027 collections in the city’s renowned Rue de la Paix fashion district.

The showroom will feature collections from brands including Kinks Lab, MARCCH, MATTER MATTERS, Pabe Pabe, PLOTZ, and others. Notably, MARCCH and MATTER MATTERS will debut collaborative pieces created with acclaimed Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, demonstrating a fusion of Hong Kong design and European creativity. A networking reception on 27 June is expected to attract around 200 industry professionals, media representatives, and buyers, providing opportunities for brands to connect with the international fashion community.

This collaboration between HKTDC and Hactl highlights Hong Kong’s unique strength in integrating creative industries with professional services. As the global fashion industry increasingly emphasizes speed, connectivity, and sustainability, the partnership combines HKTDC’s international promotional platform with Hactl’s cargo operations and logistics expertise. This synergy supports Hong Kong brands in exploring new international opportunities while bolstering the city’s capacity to help local brands respond to market expectations.

The Fashion Hong Kong event series provides comprehensive, one-stop international promotion support for Hong Kong designer brands, enabling them to connect with overseas buyers, media, and industry players. Through exhibitions, business matching, and promotional activities, the platform facilitates direct engagement with international markets, unlocking business opportunities and reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as an East-meets-West centre for cultural exchange. This initiative marks a strategic move to expand the global footprint of Hong Kong’s fashion industry at a time when the sector is seeking innovative ways to combine creativity with efficient logistics.
