Hope Partnership for Education to Host Annual Friendraiser Celebrating Student Success and Community Support
Hope Partnership for Education's upcoming 'Excellence of Hope' Friendraiser event highlights the organization's commitment to transforming lives through quality education while honoring dedicated community champions.

Hope Partnership for Education will host its annual Friendraiser titled "The Excellence of Hope" on Thursday, October 30th at 6:00 pm in the Ballroom at the Ben located at 832 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. The event serves as a crucial fundraising opportunity for the independent middle school and education center in North Philadelphia, celebrating the inspiring achievements of students, staff and alumni while supporting the organization's mission of providing high-quality, values-based education.
Mr. Virgil Sheppard, President & CEO of Hope Partnership for Education, emphasized the significance of the gathering, stating that it brings together individuals who embody the organization's core values and recognizes those who steward the founding principle that all Philadelphians deserve quality educational experiences. The event represents more than just fundraising—it demonstrates the community's collective commitment to educational equity and student success in underserved neighborhoods.
This year's celebration will honor Mrs. Marjie Quint and Mrs. Nancy Tabas, two dedicated champions who have served as trustees, committee members and art enrichment teachers at Hope Partnership School for many years. Their unwavering commitment has significantly contributed to providing transformational education to youth in the Fairhill neighborhood, showcasing how sustained community involvement can create lasting educational impact.
The Friendraiser event will feature live music, dinner and a silent auction, creating a joy-filled evening that brings together supporters, educators and community members. For those unable to attend but wishing to support the mission, donations can be made through various channels including event ticket purchases, monetary donations, scholarship contributions and event sponsorships.
