Intuit IDEAS Program Expands Nationally to Empower Small Businesses and Veteran Entrepreneurs
Intuit Inc. announces the national expansion of its IDEAS accelerator program, offering small businesses and veteran entrepreneurs access to financial technology, expert coaching, and grants to foster growth and efficiency.

Intuit Inc., the global financial technology platform behind TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, has announced the national expansion of its IDEAS (Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate, and Scale) accelerator program. This initiative, in partnership with the National Urban League, is now accepting applications from small business owners across nine U.S. cities and a nationwide cohort exclusively for veterans and military spouse entrepreneurs.
The IDEAS program, which has already demonstrated success in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, provides participants with complimentary access to Intuit's financial technology platform. This includes products like TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma, supported by Intuit platform experts. Additionally, participants benefit from business coaching by the National Urban League and executive coaching from Zella Life, aimed at developing strategies for business success and professional growth.
David Graham, Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Intuit, highlighted the program's impact, noting that participants have reported an average 23% increase in revenue and saved 16.5 hours monthly. The expansion to Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, New York City, and San Diego, along with the nationwide veteran cohort, aims to support an additional 250 small business owners.
Marc H. Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League, emphasized the program's role in addressing challenges faced by small businesses, such as limited funding and access to capital. The combination of Intuit's technology and the National Urban League's expertise offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive.
Participants in the IDEAS program also receive a technology grant for hardware needs and a cash grant at the program's conclusion to further fuel their business growth. Emilio Daniel Vasquez, CEO and founder of Coffee Cart Boys and an inaugural cohort member, shared how the program transformed his life by empowering him to overcome impostor syndrome and realize his potential as a CEO and entrepreneur.
The application for the Intuit IDEAS program is now open, with a deadline of July 21, 2025, for interested business owners in the selected cities and veteran or military spouse entrepreneurs nationwide. More information can be found at https://www.intuit.com.
