Kiwanis Club of Delray Hosts 43rd Annual Charity Golf Classic to Support Children's Programs
The Kiwanis Club of Delray's annual golf tournament raises critical funds for Achievement Centers for Children & Families, supporting educational and family strengthening programs that serve over 700 local children and families.
The Kiwanis Club of Delray will host its 43rd Annual Swing for the Kids Charity Golf Classic on October 18th at Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach, with proceeds benefiting Achievement Centers for Children & Families and the Delray Beach Kiwanis Foundation. The event represents a significant fundraising opportunity for programs that serve vulnerable children and families throughout Palm Beach County.
The tournament features an 18-hole best ball scramble format with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Participants can compete for a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize along with three additional hole-in-one opportunities, team trophies for first and second place, and various skill competitions including longest drive and closest to the pin contests. The event concludes with an awards dinner and raffle at 5:30 p.m.
Stephanie Seibel, Chief Executive Officer of Achievement Centers, emphasized the importance of the funding, stating that the raised funds will make a real difference for the children served by the organization. The Achievement Centers provide critical services including Early Learning programs for toddlers and preschoolers, After School programs, Teen services, and Summer Camp activities that help prepare children for academic and social success.
The organization also offers Family Strengthening and Economic Stabilization services that benefit the community by supporting families in crisis and helping them serve as the foundation for their children's growth. These services are integrated within the four core programs and serve over 700 local children and families annually from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Boca Raton at three locations in Delray Beach.
