LaFleur Minerals Advances Swanson Gold Project with Bulk Sample Permitting Strategy

LaFleur Minerals has begun the permitting process for a 100,000-tonne surface bulk sample at its Swanson Gold Deposit in Quebec's Abitibi Gold Belt, signaling a significant step towards potential gold production. The company plans to process the mineralized material at its fully permitted Beacon Gold Mill, located 50 kilometers from the project site.

The bulk sample represents a critical evaluation strategy for the Swanson Gold Project, which currently hosts an indicated resource of 123,400 ounces of gold and an inferred resource of 64,500 ounces. By extracting and processing this sample, LaFleur aims to generate near-term cash flow while conducting a comprehensive scoping study to assess future production viability.

With a targeted mill restart and gold production timeline of year-end 2025, the company is positioning itself to leverage its strategic land package of over 16,000 hectares. The project's accessibility by road and proximity to a rail line enhances its development potential, providing direct access to nearby gold mills.

The bulk sample permitting process represents a calculated approach to de-risking the Swanson Gold Project. By methodically evaluating the deposit's economic potential, LaFleur Minerals can make informed decisions about future development and production strategies. The results of this initiative could significantly impact the company's valuation and future operational plans.
