Lahontan Gold Initiates 2025 Drilling Program at Santa Fe Mine in Nevada

Lahontan Gold Corp. has commenced its 2025 drilling program at the Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada, positioning the company to potentially expand its existing gold and silver resources. The initial phase of drilling will target the Slab area, beginning on patented claims and potentially extending to Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administered land pending regulatory approval.

The Santa Fe Mine project, which previously produced 359,202 ounces of gold and 702,067 ounces of silver between 1988 and 1995, currently holds a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimate of 1,539,000 ounces of gold equivalent in the Indicated category and 411,000 ounces in the Inferred category.

This drilling program represents a strategic effort to potentially increase the project's mineral resource base and gather additional metallurgical testing samples. The company's approach suggests a methodical expansion of its understanding of the geological potential at the Santa Fe Mine site.

Investors and industry observers will be closely watching the initial assay results, expected within four to six weeks, which could provide insights into the project's future economic viability and resource potential. The drilling program reflects Lahontan Gold's ongoing commitment to developing its Nevada-based mining assets.
