Major Holiday Collaboration Brings Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland to Flamingo Gardens for 2025 Season

The collaboration between Hoffman's Chocolates, Flamingo Gardens, and Amazon represents a significant evolution in South Florida's holiday entertainment landscape, bringing together corporate sponsorship with community-focused organizations to create a larger-scale seasonal attraction. This partnership demonstrates how corporate-community collaborations can enhance cultural offerings while supporting important local causes. The event, running from November 22 through December 30, 2025, marks Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland's relocation to Flamingo Gardens' 10-acre botanical setting after outgrowing its original space.

The expanded event features multiple corporate sponsorships that enable a more comprehensive holiday experience while generating financial support for Flamingo Gardens' educational and conservation mission. A portion of proceeds will also benefit the BBX Capital Foundation, which invests in programs focused on the arts, education and human services throughout South Florida. This dual-benefit approach shows how commercial holiday events can serve broader community purposes beyond entertainment.

Amazon's role as presenting sponsor highlights the company's increasing focus on local community engagement. Angie Santibanez, Head of Community Engagement at Amazon, stated the company believes in partnering with local community traditions and creating joyful moments for families. The event includes thousands of colorful lights, a 35-foot Christmas tree presented by Florida Blue, and Santa's Village presented by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Additional sponsors include NBC 6 South Florida, Florida Power and Light Company, and Baptist Health South Florida, demonstrating widespread corporate support for the initiative.

For Flamingo Gardens, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1927, the partnership represents an opportunity to expand its holiday programming while advancing its mission of depicting, preserving, and educating the public about South Florida's natural and cultural heritage. Keith Clark, CEO of Flamingo Gardens, noted that the collaboration aligns with their vision to expand holiday lights in a family-friendly way. The event will transform ten acres of the gardens' arboretum and wildlife sanctuary into a holiday wonderland, creating new revenue streams for the organization's conservation work.

Tickets for the 36-night celebration are now available at https://flamingogardens.org/winter-wonderland/. The event includes free photos with Santa on select nights through December 23, a Hoffman's Chocolates Pop-up Shop, The Sweet Ride ice cream truck, toasty s'mores from Flamingo Pond Café, and nightly live musical performances. This comprehensive approach to holiday entertainment reflects growing consumer expectations for immersive, multi-faceted seasonal experiences that combine traditional elements with new attractions.
