MAKE LLC Appoints Adam Musa Othman as Lead Animator for Key Productions
Animation studio MAKE LLC has hired acclaimed animator Adam Musa Othman to lead animation on major projects including LightBox Expo collaborations and original series, strengthening the studio's creative capabilities and production quality.
MAKE LLC, the renowned creative studio known for innovative animated storytelling, has announced the addition of animator Adam Musa Othman to its core team. Othman, recognized for his distinctive visual storytelling and command of animation craft, joins MAKE LLC to lead animation across several of its most ambitious productions, bringing wealth of creative experience and technical expertise that aligns with the studio's commitment to design-forward, character-driven storytelling.
As Lead Animator, Othman will contribute across the full spectrum of pre-production through post-production, working in artistic collaboration with MAKE's writers, directors, and designers. His appointment represents a significant investment in maintaining animation quality and creative innovation as the studio expands its project slate. Othman's role is particularly crucial for the studio's partnership with LightBox Expo, a major international gathering of animation and game industry professionals.
Othman's first projects at MAKE reflect a wide range of genre and tone, each underscoring the studio's editorial creativity and production excellence. In collaboration with LightBox Expo, MAKE is producing a series of marketing and social videos that capture the spirit of creativity the expo inspires. Othman leads the animation effort on this campaign, guiding visual development, creating storyboards and animatics, and shaping the project's movement and tone from conception to final delivery across digital platforms.
The animator also serves as Lead Animator across all six episodes of Sunny Side Down, an original science fiction parody series from MAKE Originals that takes viewers to a surreal diner orbiting a black hole. Othman integrates storyboarding, animatic development, character acting and timing, and clean-up animation, collaborating closely with MAKE's acclaimed 2D team to ensure the episodes maintain their sharp comedic timing and visual clarity.
Additionally, Othman is overseeing the animation for An Incident at the Dancing Badger, a 2D animated short film adaptation of a first-prize winning story from a contest hosted by Flash Fiction Magazine. His role involves transforming the literary work into a compelling visual narrative by overseeing storyboarding, visual design, and character animation, helping elevate the short into an emotionally resonant and graphically polished cinematic piece.
MAKE LLC's reputation has been built on creating design-centric, original content for notable clients and cultural tastemakers, with prior work for brands including Xbox, Adidas, and Crunchyroll. Through its signature MAKE Originals like BraveHurts and Dead Moon Walking, the studio has carved out a unique voice within the animation community.
