Roy, with her extensive background in retail leasing across the Southeast, is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding Ackerman Retail's portfolio and enhancing its service offerings.
Leo Wiener, President of Ackerman Retail, expressed enthusiasm about Roy's joining, highlighting her unique perspective and transaction expertise derived from representing both landlords and tenants. Roy's responsibilities will include leasing for Ackerman-owned projects such as Lee + White, a notable adaptive reuse development in Atlanta, and 1200 White Street, a warehouse being transformed into a mixed-use destination. Additionally, she will work on a retail development project in Sugar Hill, GA, in collaboration with Novare Group, further diversifying Ackerman Retail's project portfolio.
Prior to joining Ackerman Retail, Roy served as Vice President of Retail Leasing at CBRE, where she represented third-party owners in leasing various retail property types and provided tenant representation services. Her nearly seven-year tenure at CBRE equipped her with a broad spectrum of experience in retail leasing, from mixed-use developments to power centers and specialty retail.
