MEI Industrial Solutions Expands to Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, Boosting Northern Nevada's Industrial Sector
MEI Industrial Solutions' lease of a 161,200-square-foot space at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center marks a significant expansion of its operational footprint in Northern Nevada, enhancing service capacity and supporting the region's growing industrial and data center sectors.

MEI Industrial Solutions, a national leader in rigging, machinery moving, and industrial storage services, has leased 161,200 square feet at 500 Denmark Drive within the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC). This move represents a strategic expansion for MEI in Northern Nevada, leveraging the region's proximity to major transportation routes and its burgeoning industrial and data center markets. The facility, part of a larger development of over 1 million square feet of Class A warehouses, underscores the TRIC's status as one of the world's largest industrial parks.
Jason Glasser, Managing Director at Clarion Partners, highlighted the significance of MEI's choice to expand its West Coast logistics operations in Reno, citing the area's high-growth potential and desirable location. The new facility not only expands MEI's operational capabilities with secured indoor and outdoor storage space but also positions the company to better serve its data center and manufacturing clients in the vicinity.
Clarion Partners' acquisition of 500 Denmark Drive in July 2024 expanded its Reno-area industrial footprint to over 1.7 million square feet, marking its first foray into Sparks, NV, a key submarket and Qualified Opportunity Zone. This development reflects the broader trend of industrial growth in Northern Nevada, driven by the region's strategic advantages and the increasing demand for industrial and logistics solutions.
The expansion of MEI Industrial Solutions into the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center is a testament to the region's growing appeal as a hub for industrial and logistics operations. With its enhanced service capacity and strategic location, MEI is well-positioned to meet the needs of its expanding customer base, contributing to the economic vitality of Northern Nevada and the broader industrial sector.
