Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Opens Applications for Second 2025 Cohort
The Leadership Institute for Military Spouses is accepting applications for a free, virtual leadership development program targeting military spouses, offering professional skill-building and community leadership opportunities through a comprehensive training curriculum.

The Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP) has announced its second cohort for 2025, inviting 50 military spouses to participate in a comprehensive leadership training initiative. The free, virtual program aims to empower military spouses with advanced leadership skills and community engagement strategies.
Designed as an intermediate-level program, MSLDP will cover critical leadership topics including meta-leadership, crisis management, conflict resolution, communication, and mental health. Participants will have the opportunity to earn a leadership certificate from Harvard University's National Preparedness Leadership Initiative and a Mental Health Ally certificate from Psych Hub.
Eligible participants include spouses of currently serving military members from any branch, including Reserves and Guard, as well as post-9/11 Gold Star Spouses, Surviving Spouses, Caregivers, and Spouses of Veterans or Retirees. Applications will be accepted from May 9 to June 6, 2025.
Upon completion, graduates will be inducted into the Military Spouse Alumni Network, providing continued learning and networking opportunities. This program represents a significant investment in developing military spouses as community change agents, recognizing their potential to drive meaningful social impact.
The initiative, presented by Car Donation Foundation's Vehicles for Veterans and organized by the Military Spouse Advocacy Network, underscores a commitment to supporting and empowering military families through targeted professional development.
